National experts share the latest technical and practical information in large sessions and in specialized, interactive workshops. LBBC offers travel scholarships and fee waivers to ensure access to all.
Teleconferences
Free teleconferences address medical findings from leading breast cancer conferences, give detailed information on new treatments and clinical trials and explore emotional issues. Scheduled at convenient times, teleconferences offer opportunities for participants to ask questions.
Networking Programs
LBBC’s networking groups in the Philadelphia area bring experts and women and families face-to-face for networking and information. Specialized programs focus on the needs of young women, women of color and women at high risk for developing breast cancer.
Newsletters
Insight, LBBC’s quarterly newsletter, delivers medical information in clear, understandable language and explores emotional issues respectfully and compassionately.

The “Guide to Understanding” series addresses the unique needs of women newly diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer and women with advanced breast cancer.
